Hey crypto addicts,
Kraken parent Payward is in talks with banking giant BNY over a potential partnership covering crypto custody, trading, payments, wealth management, and financial infrastructure. No deal has been finalized, but the discussions show how major banks are increasingly exploring partnerships with crypto-native firms.
The talks come as Payward expands into tokenized equities, stablecoin payments, custody, and institutional infrastructure. A partnership with BNY could further connect digital assets with traditional financial services while expanding both companies’ capabilities in the growing onchain economy.
The bigger picture is a closer relationship between Wall Street and crypto, with both sides increasingly focused on infrastructure rather than speculation. From tokenized securities and stablecoins to custody and payments, these partnerships could help bring blockchain-based financial services deeper into mainstream markets. USDT Returns Home

Tether is preparing to bring USDT back to Bitcoin, with Tether-backed Utexo planning an October launch for Bitcoin-native stablecoin transactions. The platform is expected to support private USDT transfers, direct BTC swaps, and loans backed by native Bitcoin.
The launch could give Bitcoin a larger role in stablecoin payments and settlement, while Utexo plans to add Lightning support at a later stage. More than 450 businesses have reportedly expressed interest in the infrastructure, including exchanges and wallet providers.
The move highlights Bitcoin’s evolution beyond simply holding and transferring BTC, with stablecoins potentially becoming another major use case for the network. As Tether and Utexo build Bitcoin-native infrastructure, the line between Bitcoin’s monetary role and its use as a global settlement network continues to expand. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕
Blast Faces Shutdown

Ethereum Layer 2 network Blast is shutting down after operating costs surpassed the revenue generated by its network. The team says there is no credible path to sustainable operations and has urged users to move their assets back to Ethereum mainnet, with withdrawals through the regular interface available until October 26, 2026. The decision marks a major shift for a project that once attracted billions of dollars in deposits.
The shutdown process will include a temporary withdrawal pause while Blast withdraws its Lido assets, after which withdrawals are expected to resume with a shorter 24-hour delay. Users who miss the deadline will still be able to recover their assets through Blast’s Ethereum bridge contracts, although the process will require direct interaction. The announcement highlights the importance of following the project’s withdrawal instructions carefully.
Blast’s closure also reflects broader challenges facing Ethereum Layer 2 networks, where declining activity and operating expenses can make long-term sustainability difficult. As competition grows across blockchain infrastructure, projects must find ways to generate enough revenue to support their networks and users. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕
Bitcoin Eyes Recovery

U.S. employers added just 29,000 jobs in September, well below the 90,000 economists expected, while the unemployment rate climbed to 4.2%. The weaker-than-expected report increased expectations that the Federal Reserve could ease its policy stance, potentially creating a more supportive environment for risk assets like Bitcoin. The data quickly pushed Bitcoin higher as traders reassessed the outlook for interest rates and liquidity.
Bitcoin briefly climbed above $87,000 after recovering from around $83,000, with short liquidations helping accelerate the move. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have also continued to attract inflows, providing another source of demand, although weaker spot buying remains a concern for the broader recovery. Markets are now watching whether Bitcoin can hold its gains as traders weigh improving liquidity expectations against ongoing economic uncertainty.
The bigger question is whether softer U.S. labor conditions can translate into lower yields and sustained demand for Bitcoin. With $87,500 emerging as a key resistance level and $82,000 providing important support, the next move could depend heavily on both macroeconomic data and institutional flows. As markets adjust to changing expectations around the Fed, Bitcoin’s ability to maintain momentum will remain a key focus for crypto traders. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕
NVIDIA's Founder Says Farmers Should Absolutely Use AI
“If I were a farmer, I would absolutely use AI.”
That’s Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.
And he's pointing to one of AI’s biggest untapped opportunities: Farming. It’s an industry facing mounting pressure to produce more with less and it’s still massively under-automated.
DIT AgTech brings AI, nutrition automation, and real-time data to livestock production, helping ranchers boost productivity and get more from every animal.
And it’s already proven in one of the world's toughest livestock environments:
500+ units deployed
370,000 head of livestock on the platform
Up to 55% higher daily weight gain
Now expanding into the U.S. and Brazil, DIT AgTech is targeting a 300M+ head cattle market. And the biggest barrier to adoption? Gone. Ranchers get the technology for free when they sign up for a three-year nutrition plan.
DIT AgTech can scale adoption faster, which means more data and more recurring revenue.
Invest before this early-stage opportunity gets harder to access.
