Hey crypto addicts,

Stripe is pushing stablecoins deeper into mainstream finance, allowing eligible US businesses to send digital dollar payments directly to external crypto wallets across more than 160 markets. The new feature, available through its Global Payouts service in public preview, supports USDC and Open USD (OUSD), with transfers typically arriving within minutes. The expansion marks another significant step in Stripe’s efforts to connect traditional payment infrastructure with blockchain-based financial services.

Businesses can fund payouts through their Stripe financial account and send funds across multiple supported blockchain networks, without having to build separate crypto payment integrations. The service is designed to support use cases such as international remittances, loan disbursements, investment withdrawals, and neobank cash-outs. However, access remains limited to eligible US businesses, with New York-based companies excluded from the current public preview.

The expansion highlights how stablecoins are increasingly moving beyond crypto trading and becoming practical tools for global payments and business operations. By combining blockchain settlement with its established financial infrastructure, Stripe is positioning itself to compete in a market where speed, lower transfer costs, and broader international access are becoming increasingly important. As major payment providers continue embracing digital assets, stablecoins could play a much larger role in the future of cross-border finance. Stock Perps Face Showdown

The future of stock perpetual futures in the US is facing an early legal battle after a federal judge questioned the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) authority to approve the new trading products. On November 3, Judge Valerie Caproni rejected an emergency request to halt stock perps on platforms including Kalshi, Coinbase Derivatives, and Bitnomial, allowing trading to proceed for now. However, the decision delivered a significant warning to regulators by suggesting that the challengers could have a strong case against the CFTC’s interpretation of its legal authority.

The lawsuit was brought by the Capital Markets Alliance Association, backed by major financial players including Cboe Global Markets and Citadel Securities. Judge Caproni indicated that stock perpetuals may qualify as swaps under the Securities and Exchange Commission’s jurisdiction rather than security futures regulated by the CFTC. The court denied the immediate halt because the alliance failed to demonstrate imminent and irreparable harm, leaving the broader legal dispute unresolved.

The ruling exposes a growing regulatory divide as crypto-native trading products move deeper into traditional financial markets. While the CFTC argues that bringing stock perps onto domestic exchanges gives American traders access to regulated alternatives to offshore platforms, traditional market players warn that the approach could weaken existing investor protections. The upcoming court proceedings could ultimately determine which regulator controls this emerging market and how far crypto-style derivatives can expand across Wall Street. Democrats Target Crypto

US Democrats are preparing a new crypto market structure proposal that could significantly reshape how digital assets are regulated, with expanded Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) oversight emerging as a central priority. The discussions follow the party's gains in the 2026 midterm elections and could revive investor protection measures previously rejected during negotiations over the CLARITY Act.

The plan reportedly builds on Representative Maxine Waters' Crypto Investor and Consumer Bill of Rights, which included stricter custody requirements, 24-hour withdrawal deadlines, monthly proof-of-reserves disclosures, and mandatory reporting of security breaches. Democrats are also considering narrowing the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC) authority while introducing ethics restrictions targeting crypto-related activities by President Donald Trump and other federal officials.

The renewed push highlights the growing political divide over the future of America's crypto industry. While Democrats are emphasizing investor protection, transparency, and potential conflicts of interest, the broader debate over regulatory jurisdiction could create fresh uncertainty for exchanges, developers, and institutional investors. ApeChain is making a major infrastructure shift by replacing LayerZero with Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as its primary cross-chain solution across the Yuga Labs ecosystem. The transition will cover key assets including APE and USDC, bringing them under Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard. The move strengthens Chainlink’s position in the blockchain interoperability market as more ecosystems look to consolidate their cross-chain infrastructure.

Under the new setup, CCIP will support asset transfers across connected networks while allowing developers to retain control over token contracts, transfer settings, and token pools. The migration will begin with Bored Ape Yacht Club use cases, ApeChain, and the APE token, although neither Chainlink nor ApeCoin has announced a firm completion date or detailed instructions for existing token holders. The projects have also not linked the decision to a specific security incident involving the previous infrastructure.

The transition reflects a broader shift toward Chainlink's interoperability network, following similar infrastructure moves by projects such as Ronin and Mantle. As cross-chain activity expands, reliable asset transfers and stronger infrastructure are becoming increasingly important for blockchain ecosystems competing for developers and liquidity. Chainlink's latest integration could further strengthen its role as a key provider of blockchain connectivity. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕
