In partnership with

Hey crypto addicts,

Blockchain.com and the New York Stock Exchange are exploring 24/7 trading of tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, bringing traditional equities further onto blockchain infrastructure. The proposed partnership would give eligible Blockchain.com users access to NYSE’s planned digital trading venue, subject to regulatory approval. The platform is designed to support fractional shares, around-the-clock trading, and onchain settlement.

The agreement also creates a two-way flow of market data between the companies. ICE Data Services plans to distribute Blockchain.com’s crypto data to traditional investors, while Blockchain.com will add NYSE and ICE market data to its platform serving more than 44 million confirmed accounts. The partnership builds on Blockchain.com’s existing tokenized-stock offering with Ondo Finance in Europe.

The move shows how traditional exchanges and crypto platforms are increasingly building around the same tokenized financial infrastructure. If approved, 24/7 access and onchain settlement could further blur the line between conventional markets and digital assets. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕

Binance Reshapes Accounts

Binance is reshaping its account structure as it prepares to turn the Funding Account into a dedicated Stocks Account. Starting Sept. 29, crypto assets in Funding Accounts will begin moving to Spot Accounts, with the transition continuing into January 2027. BNB will remain one of six assets available for stock and options settlement in the new account.

The change separates regular crypto activity from Binance’s growing stock and options business. Users can move their assets through a new one-click migration feature, while remaining balances will be transferred automatically in batches from January. Binance says the migration will not change users’ total asset balances or historical transaction records.

The move reflects Binance’s broader expansion beyond crypto trading as traditional financial products become more integrated into digital-asset platforms. With tokenized and traditional stocks increasingly appearing alongside crypto services, exchanges are adjusting their infrastructure to support a wider range of markets. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕

Wealth Wants Simplicity

Crypto ownership is already widespread among affluent investors, but deeper adoption remains limited. A Nexo survey of 1,000 investors across the U.S., U.K., and Argentina found that nearly 67% own crypto, while only 4.7% have integrated it deeply into long-term financial planning. Security, high fees, and platform complexity remain the biggest obstacles for investors who want to increase their exposure.

The findings suggest that the next stage of crypto adoption may depend less on convincing wealthy investors to enter the market and more on making crypto easier to manage. Nexo’s Crypto Integration Index averaged 4.83 out of 10, showing that many investors hold digital assets without making them a major part of their portfolios or retirement plans. Nearly 20% nevertheless expect crypto to become their largest source of personal wealth over the next decade.

As crypto moves deeper into wealth management, custody, fees, and user experience are becoming increasingly important. The gap between owning crypto and building long-term wealth with it could shape how digital assets evolve within traditional portfolios. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕

XRP Builds Lending

The XRP Ledger is moving closer to native lending as validators vote on two proposals that could introduce pooled vaults and fixed-term loans directly on the network. XLS-65 would create Single Asset Vaults, while XLS-66 would allow those funds to support lending activity. Both proposals still need sustained validator approval before going live.

The proposed system could support XRP, RLUSD, and other XRPL-issued assets, with loan terms, repayments, and defaults recorded onchain. Credit checks and underwriting would remain offchain, allowing financial firms to manage borrower risk while using the ledger for settlement and record-keeping. Ripple has already backed the amendments, but validator support remains below the required threshold.

The development adds another layer of financial infrastructure to the XRP Ledger as blockchain lending moves toward more institutional use cases. Whether it creates meaningful demand for XRP will depend on which assets are ultimately used and how much activity the protocol attracts. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕
