Hey crypto addicts,

Remember when everyone said NFTs were dead? They might want to take another look. Weekly NFT sales have climbed 6.8% to $46.8 million, with Bitcoin stealing the spotlight after its NFT volume jumped 50% to $9.4 million, fueled by several large BRC-20 trades. Ethereum still leads overall, but Bitcoin is quickly becoming part of the comeback story.

There’s a catch, though. Buyer addresses plunged more than 84% to around 42,000, meaning the rebound is being driven by a much smaller group of traders rather than a massive return of retail buyers. In other words, the money is moving, but the crowds haven’t exactly come rushing back yet.

Still, this could be the early stages of an NFT revival. If Bitcoin activity continues accelerating and more buyers start returning, the market could shift from a handful of big trades into a broader recovery. NFTs may not be back at peak hype — but they’re certainly not looking as dead as they once did.☕

What we’ve covered for you today:

  • Bitcoin Greed Returns

  • Law Firm Under Attack

  • Crypto Funding Returns

  • And more… 📰

Market Watch ☕

Bitcoin Greed Returns

Bitcoin traders are feeling bullish again. A sentiment indicator tracked by CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost briefly climbed above 89, entering “extreme greed” territory and reaching its highest level since March 2024 as optimism returned during Bitcoin’s latest push higher.

But extreme optimism can be a double-edged sword. The reading has already cooled from its peak, while Bitcoin is trying to hold its recent gains. Darkfost noted that unusually high sentiment levels are worth watching because they can sometimes appear near important market turning points.

The bigger question is whether real demand can keep up with the hype. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $463 million in net outflows between September 8 and 11, creating a notable contrast between bullish sentiment and institutional flows. Bitcoin may have its confidence back, but now the market needs buyers to prove it.☕

Law Firms Under Attack

Law firms are becoming increasingly attractive targets for cybercriminals, with Greenberg Traurig confirming that a limited number of documents were accessed and posted on the dark web. The incident comes as BakerHostetler reported handling nearly 60 cybersecurity cases involving law firms in 2025, almost double the previous year.

The crypto industry is facing a similar problem. Exchanges, wallet providers and their third-party vendors hold valuable personal information that can be targeted even when customer funds and private keys remain secure. Recent breaches have exposed identities, addresses and transaction-related data, creating opportunities for phishing and targeted attacks.

The bigger lesson is that cybersecurity is no longer just about protecting assets, it is about protecting the data surrounding them. As crypto becomes more connected to traditional finance, could personal information become the next major target for attackers?☕

Crypto Funding Returns

Crypto venture capital is showing signs of life, with $151 million flowing into five disclosed deals between September 5 and 11. The biggest headline was Nasdaq Ventures’ $100 million investment agreement with Kraken parent Payward, pushing the focus beyond crypto trading and toward tokenized equity infrastructure.

Stablecoin payments were another major theme, with Latitude raising $35 million to expand infrastructure connecting stablecoin settlement with local banking and payment systems. Together, Payward and Latitude accounted for roughly 89% of the week’s disclosed funding, showing where investors see the strongest opportunities.

The message from investors is becoming clearer: capital is moving toward the infrastructure connecting crypto with traditional finance. Tokenized stocks, stablecoin payments and institutional trading are attracting serious money, but is this the beginning of crypto’s next major investment cycle?☕
