Hey crypto addicts,

The crypto community is facing another security warning as a fake Claude desktop application has been discovered distributing RevStealer, malware designed to steal sensitive information from Windows users. Disguised as a free version of Claude Opus 5, the malicious app targets more than 50 crypto wallets alongside passwords, browser cookies, password managers, VPN credentials, screenshots, and other personal data.

What makes the attack particularly concerning is how carefully the malware is designed to avoid detection. It checks whether the device looks like a real user environment before activating, operates quietly in the background, and can remove traces after collecting data. It can even use blockchain infrastructure to maintain backup connections.

The incident is another reminder that crypto security isn't only about protecting private keys. As AI becomes more popular, attackers are increasingly using trusted brands and free software as bait. For users, downloading applications only from official sources remains one of the simplest ways to avoid becoming the next target.☕

Market Watch ☕

Wall Street Onchain

Wall Street is getting closer to putting traditional assets on the blockchain. The SEC has proposed its first major overhaul of transfer-agent rules in decades, updating the framework to account for blockchain-based ownership records and tokenized securities.

The proposal would introduce clearer standards around digital recordkeeping, cybersecurity, asset protection and blockchain infrastructure while allowing transfer agents to use onchain systems for managing securities.

The bigger picture is hard to ignore. Tokenization is moving deeper into traditional finance, and regulators are now building the framework around it. If this trend continues, blockchain could become part of the core infrastructure of global markets.☕

Stablecoins Go Mainstream

Kast is bringing stablecoins further into business finance with new accounts designed for companies operating globally. The goal is to make payments, transfers, and money management easier without relying entirely on traditional banking systems.

The launch highlights how stablecoins are evolving beyond crypto trading. Businesses can increasingly use digital dollars for everyday transactions, cross-border payments, and moving funds faster and more efficiently.

As more companies integrate stablecoins into their operations, the gap between traditional finance and crypto continues to shrink. The bigger question is how quickly businesses will make stablecoins part of their everyday financial infrastructure.☕

Markets Turn Risk-Off

Bitcoin took another hit as renewed U.S. military action sent shockwaves through global markets. BTC slipped below $63,000 as investors moved away from risk assets, while stocks and other markets also came under pressure.

The latest selloff shows how closely Bitcoin is still tied to broader market sentiment during periods of geopolitical uncertainty. Rising oil prices and a stronger dollar are adding further pressure as traders become more defensive.

With Bitcoin already struggling around key support, the next move could be important. A break lower could open the door to deeper downside, while a strong recovery would show buyers are ready to step back in.☕

HubSpot for Startups built a free tool to fix that. Paste in your URL, answer a few quick questions, and it generates a structured profile of your best-fit customer. Firmographics, buying triggers, the works.
