Hey crypto addicts,

Another security incident has shaken the decentralized finance sector after Premia Labs suffered an estimated $464,600 exploit targeting its options vaults on Arbitrum. Blockchain security firm Blockaid traced the attack to a combination of empty options pools and flash loans, which allowed the attacker to manipulate liquidity and withdraw collateral from affected vaults. The incident reportedly impacted six vaults holding assets including wrapped Bitcoin, wrapped Ethereum, USDC.e, and ARB.

However, the theft did not end on Arbitrum. The attacker moved the stolen assets to Ethereum before using Chainflip and NEAR Intents to convert them into Bitcoin, highlighting how cross-chain services can complicate efforts to trace and recover stolen funds. While these platforms were used in the reported transaction route, investigators have not identified them as the source of the vulnerability.

The exploit comes amid heightened scrutiny of DeFi security following a series of major crypto thefts, including the recent Binance breach. As attackers increasingly move stolen funds across multiple networks and decentralized services, tracking transactions and preventing further laundering are becoming more challenging for investigators. Binance Hacker’s Bitcoin Pivot

The aftermath of Binance’s $6.3 billion security breach has taken another turn, with wallets linked to the attacker moving nearly $96 million in stolen Solana toward Bitcoin conversions. According to blockchain tracker Lookonchain, approximately 486,970 SOL worth $46.4 million was transferred within an hour, with Relay Protocol identified as the cross-chain service used to facilitate the swaps. The activity marks another stage in the effort to move stolen assets across blockchain networks and complicate recovery efforts.

The latest transfers follow an earlier wave of transactions in which the attacker reportedly converted more than 130 altcoins into approximately $277 million worth of ETH and additional USDC. Meanwhile, the FBI has attributed the Binance breach to North Korea’s TraderTraitor group and urged exchanges, DeFi platforms, and other crypto service providers to block transactions connected to the stolen funds. Although billions in assets have reportedly been frozen, substantial holdings remain under the attacker’s control.

The movement from Solana toward Bitcoin highlights the growing challenges investigators face when tracking stolen funds across multiple networks and decentralized services. As authorities increase pressure on crypto platforms to prevent further laundering, the incident is also raising broader questions about cross-chain security, asset recovery, and confidence in the industry. Russia Embraces Crypto

Russia’s Moscow Exchange is preparing to take a major step into regulated digital asset trading, with plans to launch Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT trading on December 1, 2026. The move will bring cryptocurrency transactions onto the country’s established stock market infrastructure, marking a significant expansion of Russia’s efforts to build a regulated domestic crypto market. The exchange has already begun testing the system with professional market participants ahead of the planned launch.

However, access will come with restrictions, particularly for retail investors. Nonqualified investors must pass a knowledge assessment and will face an annual purchase limit of 300,000 rubles through each intermediary, while qualified investors will have broader access. Trading will run from 6:50 a.m. to 11:50 p.m. Moscow time, with partner digital depositories handling custody and brokers providing access to customers.

The launch reflects a wider shift in Russia’s approach to cryptocurrency, as authorities move toward regulated trading while maintaining restrictions on using digital assets for ordinary domestic payments. By bringing major cryptocurrencies onto a traditional exchange, Moscow is also seeking to attract activity that has largely taken place through offshore platforms. SkyAI Dumps Solana

SkyAI has expanded its proposed cash tender offer to approximately $214.3 million after reaching a settlement with major shareholder Bastion Trading, marking a major shift in the company’s digital asset strategy. To finance the transaction, the Nasdaq-listed firm has sold its entire Solana treasury, disposing of roughly 2 million SOL at an average net price of $107.20 per token. The decision also ends SkyAI’s plans to repurchase Solana after the tender offer closes.

The revised agreement allows Bastion and its affiliates to tender all their shares and warrants, while expanding the offer to cover additional warrant classes. In return, Bastion has agreed to a three-year standstill that limits its ability to influence the company’s management and board. SkyAI has also extended the tender deadline to November 12, giving eligible investors more time to participate.

The move highlights a broader shift in how publicly traded crypto-focused companies manage their digital asset treasuries, particularly when shareholder pressure and capital restructuring come into play. With approximately $223 million in cash and no remaining SOL holdings, SkyAI is moving away from its previous Solana accumulation strategy and toward a cash-focused exit. Binance has begun reopening cryptocurrency withdrawals in phases following a record-breaking $6.3 billion security breach that forced the exchange to temporarily suspend withdrawals. The first phase prioritized Bitcoin withdrawals, with additional assets and blockchain networks scheduled to return gradually after security assessments and operational checks.

The FBI has officially attributed the $6.3 billion Binance hack to North Korea, identifying the cyber operation as “TraderTraitor.” According to the agency, the hackers have been converting much of the stolen cryptocurrency into Ethereum and are expected to use decentralized finance platforms and instant swap services to move the funds further.
