Hey crypto addicts,
Coinbase has secured a major regulatory breakthrough after New Jersey withdrew its three-year enforcement order targeting the exchange’s staking services. The decision removes a $5 million penalty imposed in 2023 and clears the way for local customers to regain access to new staking deposits. The reversal marks a notable shift in the state’s approach to Coinbase’s staking business after years of legal uncertainty.
However, the withdrawal does not settle the broader dispute over whether Coinbase’s staking services fall under securities regulations. New Jersey rescinded the order without ruling on the original allegations and retained the right to pursue future enforcement action. Meanwhile, California, Maryland, Wisconsin, and Washington continue to have outstanding regulatory proceedings involving the exchange’s staking services.
The development comes as the crypto industry continues pushing for clearer regulatory treatment of staking products in the United States. Although New Jersey’s decision offers Coinbase some relief, the remaining state-level cases show that regulatory uncertainty is far from over. TRON Takes Lead

TRON has overtaken Ethereum in average USDT supply for the third quarter of 2026, marking a significant shift in the competition between the two largest stablecoin networks. According to Token Terminal data, TRON held an average of $90.75 billion in USDT during Q3, surpassing Ethereum’s $87.73 billion and securing 49.49% of USDT supply across 12 tracked blockchains. The shift reflects growing demand for TRON as a settlement network for stablecoin transfers.
Beyond its USDT lead, TRON recorded $2.18 trillion in stablecoin transfer volume during the quarter, while average stablecoin holder addresses climbed to 76.53 million. Monthly active addresses also averaged 17.81 million, highlighting continued network adoption. However, the growth in activity came alongside a 3.1% quarterly decline in network revenue, which fell to $693.21 million as average transaction fees decreased.
TRON’s growing stablecoin presence highlights how blockchain networks are competing not only for users but also for a larger share of global payment and settlement activity. With Ethereum losing ground in average USDT supply while TRON expands its reach, the latest figures could reshape the conversation around stablecoin dominance and the infrastructure supporting digital dollar transfers. Dogecoin Honors Kabosu

Dogecoin supporters marked International Doge Day on November 2 with tributes to Kabosu, the Shiba Inu whose image became one of the internet’s most recognizable memes and inspired the creation of DOGE. Celebrations took place online and in Sakura City, Japan, where the community gathered around Kabosu’s bronze memorial to honor her legacy. Projects including DogeOS and FLOKI also joined the occasion, highlighting how a viral internet image grew into a global crypto community.
While the celebration reflected Dogecoin’s cultural influence, its market performance remained far less impressive. DOGE traded near $0.074, with a market capitalization of approximately $11.5 billion, leaving the token nearly 90% below its all-time high of $0.7316. The contrast between its enduring community presence and weaker price performance highlights the gap between Dogecoin’s cultural relevance and current market demand.
Beyond the anniversary, Dogecoin’s ecosystem is also undergoing changes, with Dogecoin Labs bringing MyDoge, DogeOS, and Such App together to develop wallets, applications, and payment tools. These efforts could give DOGE broader utility beyond its meme origins, although their impact on adoption and market value remains to be seen. Here’s what you need to know from today’s crypto market.☕
Bitcoin’s Next Breakout

Bitcoin could reach a new all-time high in 2027, according to Mike Flaum, CEO of Log Scale Investments, who believes the cryptocurrency’s traditional four-year market cycle is losing its relevance. His outlook challenges the long-standing theory that Bitcoin’s price movements are primarily driven by halving events, suggesting the next major rally could arrive sooner than some cycle-based investors expect. The prediction comes as the market continues to recover from its 2026 downturn.
However, Flaum’s optimism comes amid divided views among major investment firms. Galaxy Research believes Bitcoin’s bear market ended in June, pointing to improving technical indicators and a recovery above key moving averages, while Fidelity remains cautious about whether the current rebound marks a sustained recovery. Grayscale, meanwhile, argues that broader economic conditions, particularly interest rates and economic growth, are becoming more influential than the halving calendar.
The disagreement highlights a changing debate around Bitcoin’s market cycles and what could drive its next major move. As institutional research increasingly focuses on macroeconomic conditions, market momentum, and on-chain activity, investors may need to look beyond historical halving patterns when assessing Bitcoin’s long-term direction. South Korea’s Financial Services Commission (FSC) has urged domestic cryptocurrency exchanges to strengthen cold-storage protections following Binance’s $6.3 billion security breach. During an emergency meeting with financial regulators and major crypto service providers, the FSC reviewed exchanges’ IT access controls, withdrawal approval procedures, wallet-signing systems, and administrator privileges.
North Korea has denied responsibility for the record-breaking $6.3 billion Binance hack, pushing back against the FBI’s attribution of the attack to the North Korean-linked hacking group TraderTraitor. Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, dismissed the allegations as politically motivated and accused Washington of attempting to portray the country as a global cybercrime threat.
