Hey crypto addicts,

Bitcoin is facing a tougher test as expectations of a September Federal Reserve rate hike increase. BTC has pulled back from above $81,000, with the $80,000–$83,000 region now acting as an important supply zone.

For the current rally to continue, strong spot ETF demand will be crucial. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recently recorded roughly $3 billion in inflows across nine consecutive sessions before experiencing their first outflow in 10 sessions. While institutional demand remains positive overall, momentum will need to stay strong as monetary conditions become less supportive.

The next major catalyst will be incoming U.S. employment and inflation data ahead of the Fed's September meeting. If ETF demand remains strong while economic data reduces rate-hike expectations, Bitcoin could regain momentum and challenge higher resistance. However, weakening ETF flows combined with a more hawkish Fed could place additional pressure on the current rally.☕

Coinbase Expands Canada

Coinbase is expanding its crypto infrastructure partnership with Webull into Canada, giving Webull customers access to crypto trading, liquidity, and custody through Coinbase’s Crypto-as-a-Service platform. The deal marks the fourth market covered by the partnership, following launches in the United States, Brazil, and Australia.

The expansion comes as crypto adoption in Canada continues to grow, with recent research showing that around 25% of Canadians now own crypto assets or crypto funds, up from 10% in 2023. Webull’s Canadian platform will bring digital assets alongside its existing stocks, ETFs, and options offering.

The move highlights Coinbase’s growing role as behind-the-scenes infrastructure for traditional financial platforms entering the digital asset market. Instead of requiring users to trade directly through Coinbase, Webull can integrate crypto into its existing investment experience while relying on Coinbase for the underlying liquidity and custody infrastructure.☕

BitMine Builds ETH

BitMine has added another 53,501 ETH to its treasury, bringing its total holdings to around 5.9 million ETH worth roughly $14.8 billion. The latest purchase extends the company’s Ethereum accumulation streak to 65 consecutive weeks and moves it closer to its goal of controlling 5% of Ethereum’s total supply.

BitMine now holds around 4.9% of Ethereum’s reported supply, with more than 5 million ETH already staked through its infrastructure and partners. This staked position is also generating additional yield, adding another potential revenue stream to the company’s Ethereum strategy.

The continued accumulation highlights BitMine’s increasingly aggressive long-term bet on Ethereum. As institutional interest in ETH continues to grow, the company’s progress toward its 5% supply target could become an increasingly important development for the broader Ethereum market. ☕

Strive Stacks Bitcoin

Strive has purchased another 1,800 Bitcoin for roughly $143 million at an average price of $79,431 per BTC, bringing its total holdings to 23,156 BTC. The latest acquisition pushed Strive past Bullish, making it the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder.

The purchase follows another 1,110 BTC acquisition worth around $81.5 million just one week earlier, showing how aggressively Strive has accelerated its Bitcoin treasury strategy. The company is using its common and preferred stock programs to help fund the continued accumulation.

Strive's buying also comes as other major corporate treasuries return to the market, with Strategy recently resuming Bitcoin purchases after a lengthy pause. The renewed activity highlights growing corporate demand for BTC and could provide another source of buying pressure if these treasury strategies continue to expand.☕
