Hey crypto addicts,

Bitcoin payments are becoming easier to access as BitBox adds a self-custody Lightning wallet directly to its mobile app. The new feature allows users to make faster Bitcoin payments without creating or managing a separate recovery phrase, instead using the existing backup connected to their BitBox hardware wallet. The update brings Lightning closer to everyday users while keeping long-term Bitcoin savings separate from the spending wallet.

The integration uses Breez SDK and Spark, removing the need for users to manage their own Lightning nodes, channels, or liquidity. Users can send and receive Lightning payments while also moving funds between their Lightning balance and on-chain Bitcoin holdings. This approach aims to reduce some of the technical barriers that have historically made Lightning less accessible to everyday Bitcoin users.

The bigger picture is that Bitcoin infrastructure continues to shift toward making payments faster, simpler, and more practical. As wallets increasingly combine self-custody with easier payment tools, Lightning could play a larger role in bridging Bitcoin’s long-term storage and everyday spending use cases.☕

Robinhood Faces Charges

Crypto trading is facing another test over the use of confidential market information. Two former Robinhood engineers have been charged with commodities fraud and wire fraud over an alleged scheme involving advance knowledge of upcoming crypto listings. Prosecutors allege the pair used this information to trade perpetual futures on Hyperliquid, generating more than $50,000 in profits.

According to prosecutors, the defendants allegedly used information about Robinhood’s planned token listings to position trades before the announcements became public. Robinhood said it has zero tolerance for insider trading and reported the matter to law enforcement and regulators. The case highlights the growing focus on protecting sensitive information as crypto markets become increasingly interconnected.

The charges add to wider scrutiny of trading practices across both centralized and decentralized crypto markets. They also highlight how information around token listings can potentially influence prices across multiple platforms. Both defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.☕

X Moves Into Trading

X is taking another step toward becoming a financial hub by launching its U.S. Cashtag Partner Program. The new feature connects stock, ETF, and cryptocurrency discussions directly to trading platforms including Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Interactive Brokers, and Moomoo. Users can tap a supported cashtag, view market information, and select “Trade” to continue the transaction on a partner platform.

The launch brings trading closer to the conversations that already happen on X every day. Instead of moving from social media to a separate platform to act on market information, users can now move from an asset page directly to a participating brokerage. X itself does not execute the trades, with transactions and account requirements remaining under the control of each partner.

The move also reflects the broader convergence between social media, financial information, and digital asset trading. With major crypto exchanges such as Coinbase and Kraken now integrated into the Cashtag experience, X is creating a shorter path between discovering an asset and accessing a trading platform.☕

Markets Feel Pressure

Crypto markets are coming under renewed pressure as expectations for a Federal Reserve rate hike climb above 92%. Bitcoin has fallen below $76,000, while the total crypto market capitalization has dropped more than 2% as traders reassess the outlook for liquidity and risk assets. The move comes ahead of the Fed’s policy decision and adds another layer of uncertainty to an already fragile market.

The shift in rate expectations has been driven by persistent inflation, rising oil prices, and growing expectations that the Fed may need to keep monetary policy tighter for longer. Markets are now pricing in a 25-basis-point hike with roughly 92% probability, while the 10-year Treasury yield has briefly moved above 5%, putting additional pressure on risk assets. For crypto, the combination of higher yields, a stronger dollar, and weaker liquidity is becoming an increasingly important market driver.

The pressure comes at a critical moment for the crypto industry, with the Federal Reserve decision arriving alongside ongoing regulatory developments in Washington. Bitcoin and other digital assets are already reacting to the Senate’s failure to advance the CLARITY Act, adding another source of uncertainty for investors.☕

NVIDIA's Founder Says Farmers Should Absolutely Use AI

“If I were a farmer, I would absolutely use AI.”

That’s Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.

And he's pointing to one of AI’s biggest untapped opportunities: Farming. It’s an industry facing mounting pressure to produce more with less and it’s still massively under-automated.

DIT AgTech brings AI, nutrition automation, and real-time data to livestock production, helping ranchers boost productivity and get more from every animal.

And it’s already proven in one of the world's toughest livestock environments:

  • 500+ units deployed

  • 370,000 head of livestock on the platform

  • Up to 55% higher daily weight gain

Now expanding into the U.S. and Brazil, DIT AgTech is targeting a 300M+ head cattle market. And the biggest barrier to adoption? Gone. Ranchers get the technology for free when they sign up for a three-year nutrition plan.

DIT AgTech can scale adoption faster, which means more data and more recurring revenue.

Invest before this early-stage opportunity gets harder to access.
